Pumpkin, beef and rice

Velvety winter dish: beef cubes, pumpkin in chunks, white rice cooked in the broth.

    Boil the beef

    60 min

    Cover the cubed beef with water, simmer covered for 1 hour.

    Add pumpkin

    15 min

    Stir in the pumpkin chunks. Continue simmering 15 minutes until the pumpkin is fork-tender.

    Cook the rice

    20 min

    Lift out the meat and pumpkin, keep warm. Cook the rinsed rice in 480 ml of the broth, covered, on low heat 18 minutes. Stir in the ghee.
