Terms of sale for digital products

Last updated: May 2026

About these terms

These terms govern any purchase of a digital product (e-book PDF, downloadable resource) on the Sehtin website. By placing an order, the customer accepts these terms in their entirety. The vendor is the publisher of the Sehtin platform, contact details available on the legal mentions page.

1. Product offered

The product is a digital book (e-book) in PDF format, downloadable, comprising the editorial content described on the product page. The product is delivered without DRM (no copy protection technology) for personal use. The price is shown in euros, all taxes included if applicable.

2. Ordering and payment

The order is placed by clicking the order button on the product page. Payment is made online through the secure Polar.sh payment system, which acts as merchant of record. Accepted means of payment: credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). The contract is concluded once the buyer receives confirmation of payment.

3. Delivery

Following payment confirmation, the buyer immediately receives an email containing a secure download link valid for 24 hours and renewable on simple request. The PDF can be downloaded any number of times within this period and stored without DRM by the buyer.

4. Right of withdrawal — IMPORTANT

European law provides a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. However, for digital content delivered immediately, this right is waived as soon as the buyer downloads or starts to download the file (article L221-28 13° of the French Consumer Code, transposed from EU Directive 2011/83/EU). By ticking the box "I agree that the file is delivered immediately and I waive my right of withdrawal" at checkout, the buyer expressly waives the right of withdrawal. This is the standard for digital products in Europe. If the buyer encounters a technical issue (corrupted file, undeliverable email), they should contact us first: the situation will be resolved (new link, refund) on a case-by-case basis with goodwill.

5. Use license

By purchasing the e-book, the buyer obtains a personal, non-transferable, non-resellable license to consult the work for their own use. The PDF can be read on the buyer's personal devices, printed for their own use, and stored in their personal cloud. Prohibited: reselling the file, sharing it with third parties, posting it online, distributing it on file-sharing networks, including its content on a third-party platform without prior written authorization. Excerpts under 200 words are permitted with mention of the source "Sehtin (sehtin.com)".

6. Editorial commitments and disclaimer

The e-book is an educational publication. It cites the Quran (Warsh script), authentic hadiths from the four most rigorous Sunni collections (Bukhari, Muslim, Abi Dawud, Tirmidhi) and over 30 peer-reviewed scientific studies. It is not validated by Dr. Diaa Al-Awadi nor by any medical authority. The Tayyibat dietary system has not been validated by a published randomized clinical trial. The book does not constitute medical advice. Pregnant or breastfeeding women, persons under medical treatment, persons with chronic conditions, must consult their doctor before any change of diet. No refund is granted on the basis of dissatisfaction with editorial content (a sample is available before purchase to evaluate the work).

7. Liability limitation

The vendor's liability is limited to the price paid by the buyer for the digital product. The vendor cannot be held responsible for indirect or consequential damages resulting from the use of editorial content of the work. The reader applies the principles described under their own responsibility.

8. Personal data

The personal data collected during the order (email, name, billing address) are processed by Polar.sh for billing and EU VAT obligations, and by us for delivery and customer service. Data are not transferred to third parties for marketing purposes. The full privacy policy is available on the dedicated page.

9. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the buyer and the vendor commit to seeking an amicable solution before any legal action. If no agreement is found, French courts have exclusive jurisdiction, except for European consumer protection provisions which remain applicable.
